Hound of Heaven

Sure, just like our Lord's first words to His followers were "I have come so that all of you can 'get with it' and keep up with the changing times!" NOT! Clearly, Martini was one of those apostates who simplistically thinks the tail(secular culture) is wagging the dog(the Church). He and his ilk have not taken Jesus' words very seriously as He is adamant that He has come 'not to change the Law, but to fulfill it.' On virtually every aspect Martini chose to highlight as essential was never mentioned by our Lord as having any salvific worth whatsoever. Agent provocateurs like Martini should be unmasked and asked to follow the Gospel or hit the road to perdition of their choice.

Rand Miller

Martini was a heretic of the worst kind for he influenced many people in a harmful way against the Catholic Faith.

Martini was a radical liberal dissenter Jesuit, who made the great Benedict XVI's pontificate Hell, by opposing him and organizing opposition to him. I don't know if he would have been as bad as Pope Francis is now, but he was another dissident heretic Jesuit, and that probably says enough.

John A Cassani

The thing that sets him apart from Francis is that he actually had heretical ideas of his own, while Francis just parrots those of others.

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori Martini would have been far worse. Both more radical and yet less self-destructive I think.
Will we get our first photo of Francis today?

@John Fritz Logan - I'll bet he is doing "fair". But I think he will be alot changed, and by that I don't mean just weight. Unless he's not actully human 🤪 he will start to decline rapidly. People as old as him don't bounce back much after that surgery. When we see him, I'll bet the reaction will be that he'll be gone soon.

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori Hello..Kenjiro..how are you??? I hope you had great weekend....I little about know to Cardinal Martini.....he was wrong man...against to Holy Father Pope John Paul II, Benedict XVI....I think now Bergoglio following to past crazy man's way....I heard..Bergoglio have much better now....I feels so horrible...I told you....I can't pray for Bergoglio's recovery....if his time much longer...we will have huge damages...now..I am very worry....if, if He is come back...he must trying destroying to our Orthodox teachings....if, if we can't will get to Orthodox Pope..fast time...really hope before finish to this Synod....even though I have so many sins, many fault....but really hope come to Lord's house.... many talking sorry..Kenjiro...but I always really happy if I will see your great comment..I learning a lot.....our Lord Sacred Heart of Jesus blessed always you and all your family...all lovely people...Holy Mary, All Angels and Saints..pray for us....Amen...take care...have a great day..have a great Sacred Heart month too...

@Clement Jaeho Chung It has been 5 days and the Vatican hasn't even shown a photo of Francis yet.
Martyr Cardinal Pell pray for us, pray for the restoration of the Church, for an orthodox successor to resume the work of Pope Benedict XVI.

@Clement Jaeho Chung -Hey Clement! THank you for the weekend wishes. Yes, it was happy. This week is yearly finals week at the school I teach....to explain that better, what I taught (or tried to teach) the students in my 6 History classes since January is compressed into 1 week where they have to take tests to show that they actually absorbed what I was teaching all semester. So far, I have a good record each year, with 99.9% of my students passing. This year though, it looks like I am going to have to fail 3 students, all of whom have below 65 averages in all their quizzes and assignments this semester. Unless there's a miracle (like them all getting high B+ grades, or A's) for the final exam, then I'll fail them. I felt bad about it until I thought to myself that I tried to help them, even offering to tutor them, and they turned me down. So if they fail, they fail. Too bad 🤪
Yes, I agree with you. I can't pray for Pope Francis recovery either. I don't want another 1-2 years of him (God forbid even longer😱) Apparently he is not having breathing problems, because they would not institute a regime of physio respiratory therapy on a patient unless they are starting to have breathing trouble. I would not be surprised if Bergoglio has the beginnings of Pneumonia in his lungs, because he's been laying in bed for a week not moving. Pneumonia is a HUGE complication for anyone who had surgery in the hospital, especially very elderly. Some very elderly people develope pneumonia just sitting in their wheelchairs all day not moving. The doctors want Bergoglio to stay in the hospital at least for another week. That is NOT a good sign. Of course I don't pray for Francis to be dead, but I don't wish him to be back in action either. Resigning, or a rapid decline and death is probably what's going to happen to him. And I don't think we'll get a Pope Francis II. And it won't be Zuppi or Parolin either...or Tagle.😂

@Clement Jaeho Chung --Sorry, I meant to say in my first post, "Apparently he IS having breathing problems..... "
That's a bad sign. But they say he doesn't have a fever.....yet. 😂
