At yesterday's general audience, Pope Francis spoke about the sixth commandment, "You shall not commit adultery". Probably in order to get around Amoris Laetitia he defined an adulterer very vaguely as – quotation - "an immature person who keeps his life for himself and interprets situations on the basis of his own well-being and self-satisfaction.” By contrast, Jesus Christ defines an adulterer this way: Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery.” (Luke 16:18)

Cardinal McCarrick’s “Good Night Ritual”

Father Boniface Ramsey, a former professor in Archbishop McCarrick's Newark seminary, published in the Commonweal Magazine details about McCarrick’s homosexual behavior: McCarrick used to invite five specific seminarians to spend a weekend at his beach house where there were five beds for six men. So one seminarian had to sleep in McCarrick’s bed. When bedtime came, McCarrick stripped himself naked, almost always in front of the seminarian, before putting on some bedclothes. The expectation was that the seminarian would do the same. Ramsey adds, “I never heard that McCarrick touched anyone.”

Spontaneous Invitation

Ramsey further recalled the late Louisville Archbishop Thomas Kelly said that McCarrick had met a good-looking flight attendant at the airport and invited him to become a seminarian. Ramsey was told this was not the only such spontaneous invitation.

Bones found in an annex of Villa Giorgina, the Vatican Nunciature to Italy in Rome, have caused an oligarch media uproar. But a Vatican source told IlFattoQuotidiano.it that on the territory of the Villa there used to be a cemetery. So, further digging will likely result in finding more bones. The villa was the residence of Isaia Levi, an Italian politician and manufacturer, who converted from Judaism to the Church and left the villa to Pius XII in order to thank him for helping the Jews during the Second World War.
