A former bishop of Chur allegedly consecrated a man "many years ago", although the bishop knew that he was having a homosexual relationship with a priest.
This is claimed by homosexual Heinz Angehrn (67), an enemy of the Church who drew a +10,000 Swiss franc salary as Novus Ordo parish priest in the diocese of St Gallen for 37 years until his retirement in 2018 (Kath.ch, 5 November).
When Angehrn asked the bishop why he had done this, the bishop is reported to have said: "Do you believe, Father Angehrn, that truthfulness has a high value in the Catholic Church?" Angehrn's claims are unverifiable and implausible.
Angehrn imagines that younger homosexual priests wear the "Roman collar" and go to the "sex sauna." According to him, this is a good way to become a canon or a bishop. Oddly enough, Angehrn became neither.
