Appointment: New Archbishop of Strasbourg Archdiocese

Bishop Pascal Delannoy is the new Archbishop of Strasbourg, as Gloria.tv reported in January. The appointment was announced by the French government in the Journal Officiel on February 28. The previous archbishop, Monsignor Luc Ravel, was forced to resign in April 2023.

Archbishop Delannoy has been bishop of Saint-Denis since 2009. He is praised by the oligarch media as a "peacemaker", as "calm" and "wise" - or, in other words, adaptable to the world of the oligarchs.

The Jesuit Marcel Remon who lives in Saint-Denis said of Delannoy: “If he didn't have his pectoral cross, you wouldn't even know he was a bishop.”

Born in Comines (northern France), on the border with Belgium, Monsignor Delannoy worked as an accountant before being ordained a priest at the age of 32.
