The liberal Buenos Aires bishops, led by Cardinal Poli, encourage priests to bring the sacraments to those requesting them.
In a letter to the clergy (Aica.org, March 23), Poli writes that the bishops’ conference worked out an arrangement with the government to exempt priests from travel restrictions due to the coronavirus.
The letter refers to Francis' wish that priests "to go out" to the sick to offer them the sacraments.
