It goes down to the question, Faith vs Obedience.

Fe siempre, obediencia... a un papado leal a nuestro señor Jesucristo

Jeffrey Ade

As well Vigano is too!

No Obedience = No Faith

Simon North

@brhenry Faith is a theological virtue. Obedience is a moral virtue related to justice. In the hierarchy of virtues, obedience is neither a theological virtue nor a cardinal virtue. Faith reveals what is of Divine authority - not the other way round. There is a hierarchy of the virtues. Please recognize them.

@Simon North I Stand Corrected.. My equation should have read:
No Obedience = Dead Faith St. James 2:26

Simon North

@brhenry Without proper theological qualification, your correction is deficient. To employ a well-known adage, "Even the devil can quote Scripture." Please note my statement that the infused theological virtue of Faith reveals who is and who is not entitled to the moral virtue of obedience. That appears to me the nub of the controversy - the equalizing of these two virtues.
