I wonder if it was a gay-lover, or maybe an angry person who was a molestation victim, and blamed the bishop for a cover up during the sex-abuse scandal? Or it may just have been a robbery gone bad? Truth will tell.

I would be willing to bet that Bishop O'Connell had an argument with his gay lover, who shot him. O'Connell was VERY, VERY pro-homosexual, right in line with Francis in everything, and Fr. James Martin, etc.

Even if we do not talk about religion at all it's simple facts of reality, men are men and born with genitals that clearly distinguish them as such, as women are women. But we can then, see the relationship of that and religion, or that and God.
Same with animals male and female.
Unfortunately, in cultural things it's been taught from a couple of centuries ago that we come from monkeys, so God did not create a man and a woman, but a male and a female, in other words animals which classify us in the animal kingdom as mammals.
Now, if we are animals WHY NOT BEHAVE AS SUCH AND HAVE ANY KIND OF SEX WE WANT RIGHT?, but animals themselves do not mix with animals of their same sex. However, it's been noticed that such things do happen BECAUSE AS MEN AND WOMEN HAVE SINNED AND FALL MORE AND MORE INTO SIN AND SINCE WE WERE GIVEN THE GRACE TO TAKE CARE OF CREATION, OUR SINS HAVE BEEN PASSED ON TO OTHER CREATURES, that includes the universe itself.
