Unlike most people I know, I was determined to be an expendable child as I have an inherited condition which was known to take the person from us during adolescence. This resulted in:
- Parents scrimping on care.
- Doctors following parents and using least cost action
- None informing me
When I asked why my siblings and classmates were treated differently... I got lies from medical and parental authorities.

So... I trust no doctor.

Now, why did I live beyond adolescence? They discovered a variant which was lesser yet required a hoard of cash and complete transfusions at 90 day intervals.

How did I learn this?

Well, it was one of the last confessions of my father as he passed.
