Biskup Williamson o vatikánských rozhovorech. Když se ho ptali na jednání probíhající ve Vatikánu o opětovném zapojení bratrstva sv. Pia X. (lefebvristů) SSPX do běžné služby v Katolické církvi, řekl francouzsky: "Myslím, že to skončí jako dialog hluchých. Tyto dvě polohy jsou naprosto neslučitelné. 2 +2 = 4 a 2 +2 = 5 jsou nesmiřitelné. Buď my SSPX, kteří říkáme 2 +2 = 4 se vzdáme pravdy a budeme souhlasit, že 2 +2 = 5.
