On Saturday, four bishops prayed an Act of Reparation at the 'Catholic Identity Conference' in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They were Athanasius Schneider (Kazakhstan), Marian Eleganti (Switzerland), Robert Mutsaerts (the Netherlands) and Joseph Strickland (USA). The prayer doesn't name a prelate. The text notices that the "Authorities" of the Holy See are complicit in the "abomination" of a homosexual march in St Peter's Basilica on 6 September. They permitted that churches were used as "a platform to proudly advocate the legitimisation of sodomy, fornication, and other sins against the Sixth Commandment". The bishops also expressed regret that there are ideological lobby groups within the Church advocating the legitimisation of sin. Cardinals and prelates have made "brazen calls" to change Catholic teaching on homosexuality. Furthermore, the bishops prayed for those who blaspheme God by asserting that he created homosexual attraction, and for those who impart 'blessings' on homosexual …More
A Pontifical Blessing for Ice Cubes of Various Sizes, courtesy of Fr Rutler: I unworthily propose a prayer for Pontifical blessings of ice cubes of various sizes in times of Climate Change. It may be used in time of global cooling as it is frozen, or in time of global warming as it melts. Almighty God by whose sovereign breath frost is given and running rivers have been made solid (Job 37:10), and whose Providence hath gendered the hoary frost of heaven (Job 38:29): we humbly thank Thee for having cast ice like morsels when climates cool, and for turning that same ice in time of warming verily to limpid water that doth quench the thirst of wild asses (Psalm 104:11): forgive our selfish pride for making ozone to change the face of soft waters into waters that are hard, and hard waters into waters that are soft. From shrinking pole to expanding pole may all living creatures join the ice and snow in blessing Thee (Daniel 3:69) whose only Begotten Son was able to walk on water that was not …More
From A Traditional Examination of Conscience: Classified As A Mortal Sin: "Have I, as a parishioner, fomented rebellion and disobedience among the people of a parish, by slander, conspiracy, etc., against my pastor?" Are you "Fomenting Rebellion & Disobedience" Against The Pastors of Holy Church? Mortal Sin.
BENEFITS OF GOING TO MASS * 1. Mass is the continuation of Calvary. 2. Each Mass is worth as much as the life, sufferings, and death of Our Lord Jesus Christ, offered in sacrifice. 3. It is the most powerful act of reparation to atone for sins. 4. At the hour of death, the greatest comfort of the soul will consist of the Masses heard during life. 5. Each Mass well heard will accompany us to the Divine Tribunal, pleading for forgiveness. 6. Depending on the fervor with which one attends, the temporal punishment due for sins can be diminished to a greater or lesser degree. 7. By devoutly attending, the greatest homage is paid to the Sacred Humanity of Our Lord. 8. In the Holy Mass, Our Lord Jesus Christ offers expiation and reparation for many of our omissions and negligences. 9. In the Holy Mass, Jesus Christ forgives venial sins that have not yet been confessed. Additionally, the power of Satan over the soul is diminished. 10. By attending, the greatest possible relief is provided …More
And, He speaks that we are above the Angles: "...united with the purity of My Deity, and of this mass of their Adam nature raised above all the choirs of Angels..."
From Saint Catherine's of Siena 'Dialogue'; God the Father speaking: 'Oh, ugly soul, where hast thou left thy dignity ? Thou wast made sister to the angels, and now thou art become a brute beast.'
