Francis Praises Failed Vatican II - "Visit From God"
He is committed to the [failed and long bygone] Vatican II, Francis confessed to Tertio.be, (December 2022).
Then, he mocked God by portraying the pastoral council as "a visit from God to His Church." According to him, Vatican II was “one of those things that God accomplishes in history through holy men.” Most clerical abuses occurred immediately after Vatican II.
Francis said he believes in a Church that is always "moving forward" - while his Church is going downhill. “The Council has opened the door to a greater maturity [= putrefaction], to be more in tune with the signs of the [decadent] times,” he insisted, “It was not only a matter of renewal [= collapse], but also a challenge to make the Church more and more alive.”
One wonders what drugs Francis is smoking. The decline of the Church since Vatican II is well documented and there for all to see. After Vatican II, Sunday Mass attendance dropped from 90% to 8% in Brazil, 14% in Germany, 17% in the USA, 21% in Argentina, etc. Thousands of churches have since been closed. Ten thousands more will follow.
Francis' Jesuits experienced a 59% decline since 1965.
