Cardinal Has Now a Titular Dorm

San Callisto Church in downtown Rome was transformed on December 21 into a heated bedroom for the homeless.

The desecration is an initiative of the Sant'Egidio Community. The article’s pictures were published as a publicity stunt by Vatican Media.

The church is built over the place of the martyrdom of Pope St. Callixtus I (+222). St Callixtus dorm is the titular church of Utrecht Cardinal Willem Eijk.
