At a press conference, Bishop Juan Antonio Martínez Camino, the secretary of the Spanish Episcopal Conference, with clear irony commented on the abortifacient-friendly bishops of Germany. He said: "If there is a pill that prevents a conception in cases of rape, then it is licit to prevent it. However, We have no knowledge of a morning-after pill without abortifacient effects. .... All morning-after pills have this possible abortive effect. Therefore, its use is illicit. If it does exist in Germany, we are not aware of it. It is not known to us that this technical possibility exists." Rorate coeli comments: “In a few words, the charade of the German Episcopal Conference, seconded by the ignorant statement of Bp. Carrasco, against the official and formal view of his own Pontifical Academy for Life, is thus aptly dismantled.

Even if one subtracts 60% for natural forests and deserts, the whole humanity could live very comfortably today on the African continent.
According to other calculations that require a change to a vegetarian diet and the consequent abandonment of animal-gigant-farming, for the whole of humanity would find place anove, even in the U.S. state of Texas or a doubled humanity on the Australian continent place. Measured by the aforementioned example it is even sized generously. Nevertheless, there is not a shred of real evidence for a "population explosion". With 7 billion people, spread over the entire earth, this planet would not be is not overpopulated but underpopulated.
