Mi ha sempre incuriosito il capitolo 13 dell’Apocalisse, quello in cui San Giovanni parla delle due Bestie, quella del Mare, l’Anticristo e quella della Terra, il Falso Profeta. In particolare per me sono notevoli i versetti che vanno dal 16 al 18 quelli che recitano “ Faceva sì che tutti, piccoli e grandi, ricchi e poveri, liberi e schiavi ricevessero un marchio sulla mano destra e sulla fronte; e che nessuno potesse comprare o vendere senza avere tale marchio, cioè il nome della bestia o il numero del suo nome. Qui sta la sapienza. Chi ha intelligenza calcoli il numero della bestia: essa rappresenta un nome d’uomo. E tale cifra è seicentosessantasei.”
Da tempo mi chiedo come sono da interpretare soprattutto le parole che ho sottolineato. Chiaramente bisognerebbe conoscere il greco antico, per cui spero che qualche esperto abbia la voglia e la pazienza di andare a …Altro
