I think medical doctors should be called Faucies and that would also clarify things. The only rear doctors are those of the Church.

She is absolutely correct. Dr. should be reserved for the profession of medicine if only to avoid confusion. (Especially in light of doctorates now being handed out like candy in some disciplines.)
