@Jim Dorchak St John teaches us that Jesus Christ is "The Word"

St John writes "The Word became FLESH and came and dwelt amongst us"
In the Aramaic Targum version of the Hebrew Texts - we can see whom "the Word " is. He is a Divine personality making lots of appearances throughout the Old Testament. The Aramaic for "The Word" is " Memra" & throughout the Targums ,"The Word" is shown to be a separate personality from the Father and Holy Spirit:

In that passage from Genesis (Douay Rheims)

"And the Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorrha brimstone and fire from the Lord out of Heaven."
[Genesis 19:24]

You can see reference to TWO Lords - one on earth and one in Heaven. "the Lord" appears twice. In the ancient Aramaic Targum version of Genesis 19:24 - it becomes clearer that "The Word" who came into this world as Our Lord Jesus Christ was the first Lord mentioned in that text.

"And the Word [Memra] of the Lord caused to descend upon the peoples of Sodom and Gommorah, brimstone and fire from the Lord in heaven."
Targum Jonathan on Gen. 19:24

St John tells us in John 1 "Through Him" (The Word - the pre-incarnate Christ) "All was created.

That's what the TARGUMS say - the text of the Aramaic Targums for Gen 1
"And the Word [Memra] of YHWH created man in his likeness, in the likeness of YHVHs, YHVH created, male and female created He them."

Targum. Jonathan Gen. 1:27

Our editions of the Bible are based on the Greek Texts from the Septuagint version. They appear to have very early on renamed theperson of "The Memra " many times to avoid the confusion that they didn't understand Triune references to God in their Scriptures. They renamed Him many times "In Gen 19:24 He is called "Lord" which He IS - but a different LORD to the Father.
We Christians can now decipher the Targums and hopefully re-issue those Texts to prove that Our Lord Jesus Christ - was there at the begining, did condemn Sodom, appeared to Moses within the Burning Bush - and IS Eternal!

Sorry it's so long - but see this passage (Proverbs 8 Christ is speaking. It says He was there at the begining - but clearly is a seperate entity to the Father.

McCarrick was his roving ambassador, but it was kept unofficial and deniable except that the Iranian and other diplomatic actions are noted elsewhere. See American Spectator.

@CarolineA03 I have to wonder if Our Lord God and Savior would call "Raining down Brim Stone and fire", accompaniment or mercy.... my guess is mercy.
