Papal Blessing For SSPX-Chapel

The mission of the Society of St Pius X (SSPX) in Vanuatu, South Pacific Ocean, received a blessing from Francis.

A SSPX circular published in New Zealand (October 13) showed a picture of Father Bochkoltz installing the papal blessing on the wall of the chapel together with the chief of the village. The blessing reads: “His Holiness Pope Francis grants with an open heart the apostolic blessing to the curate of the community of the parish of Saint Raphael, Vunapisu, South Santo, Vanuatu, and implores an abundance of grace and the protection of the Holy Virgin Mary.”

It must be said though that such blessings can be bought in Rome virtually for everything, and that they cannot be directly traced back to Pope Francis.
