Is This Rome's New Tactic to Destroy Holy Mass?

On 25 July, it was announced that the Vatican had asked the Dominican Sisters of Pontcalec to modify the Roman Rite by introducing the Novus Ordo liturgical calendar, the Novus Ordo readings, and the prefaces invented by Paul VI.

According to Peter Kwasniewski (NewLiturgicalMovement.org, 29 July), the Vatican is conducting an experiment here that it would like to extend to all institutes of the Roman Rite.

This tactic would not consist in suppressing the Roman Rite, but in hybridising it with the Novus Ordo.

Thus, the diktat could be issued that the Roman Rite may be "retained", but the Novus Ordo calendar, lectionary and prefaces must always be used instead of those proper to the Roman Rite.

Kwasniewski fears that this is the next and more subtle strategy of the Vatican nomenclature, which has realised that it cannot achieve the direct and total abolition of the Roman Rite.

"Thank you (Vatican operative), We'll give this new instruction the immediate attention that is deserves."

If this nightmare is mandated for the universal Church, hopefully there will be courageous clergy who will just say NO - and continue to uphold the integrity of the Mass of the Ages and the traditional liturgical calendar without any alteration.

Unfortunately, most of them just say NO.

Meanwhile, see here, beginning at p.44:

There was also a Part II, which I will post later.

I wrote this article back in 2017 (which was subsequently copy/pasted from my defunct blog, and reposted here):
Neo-SSPX Preparing for a Hybrid Mass?

V.R.S.

At my SSPX chapel changes have not begun to be implemented several years ago. Here is a description of some no changes:
Standing through the Agnus Dei - no
The altar boys now say the “Domine non sum dignus” aloud with the priest - no
As for the Holy Week:
The sock thing is quite funny when provided as argumentation in the context of alleged preparation of the "Hybrid Mass".
As for no genuflection on Good Friday at the prayer for the Jews - some priests omit it keeping the old custom, some do not - keeping JXXIII changes.
"Additionally, one could cite the proliferation of the Dialogue Mass throughout all SSPX schools and seminaries"
---
Msgr. Lefebvre accepted changes of Pope Pius XII so no ground to search here for the "Hybrid Mass".

Congratulations on missing the entire point: The SSPX is doing away with all local customs to achieve a monolithic liturgical posture. That’s a preparatory stage. That you haven’t seen some of these changes at your particular chapel proves nothing. Give it time. The District knows which chapels will require more preparation than others.

This is insane. The rites are NOT allowed to be mixed.

all in the name of vatican council ii... how did the Novus ordo come about from the conciliar document? Change is the name of the game.

So it won't be retained. BTW, it seems like realization of the Ratzinger's dream (so-called mutual enrichment of 2 forms) so enthusiasts of BXVI should rejoice.
