Sodoma Supplicans: Bishops Forbid Priests to Bless "Abominable Depravities"
The bishops describe the claims made in the homosexual propaganda text Fiducia Supplicans as "problematic in our [= Catholic] ecclesial context".
They affirm that the document "Fiducia Supplicans" offends our ancestral and cultural values and "gives the impression that our Church approves and encourages an intrinsically bad reality".
Francis' decision "risks creating confusion and scandal," the bishops warn, explaining that the Church has always taught that homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.
"This teaching of the Church is based on Scripture, which considers homosexual unions to be grave and abominable depravities," they wrote.
