Polish Archbishop Warns About FSSPX
Archbishop Józef Kupny of Wrocław, Poland, warns Catholics in his archdiocese about the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X (FSSPX).
EKai.pl reports on 3 September that a statement will be read in all parishes on 7 September, following growing local interest in the construction of a new FSSPX church.
Monsignor Kupny claims that the Priestly Fraternity lacks a "regulated canonical status" within the Church: "Its priests, acting without the permission of the local bishop, celebrate Holy Mass validly, but improperly, as they do so outside the framework of Church discipline."
The archbishop goes as far as to call it sin: "If its members consciously manifest their opposition to Church discipline and the authority of the Pope in this way, they commit a sin from which they must purify themselves in the sacrament of penance."
He recommends that the faithful of the Roman Rite attend Mass at the Collegiate Church of the Holy Cross on Cathedral Island in Wrocław, which he has approved.

Sound like the Archbishop Józef Kupny of Wrocław is demanding FSSPX be obedient to man instead of obedient to Jesus Christ. The synodal church requires obedience to synodal authority (which can be sinful).
