Archbishop Facing Hurricane Irma - On A Motorbike

Miami Archbishop Thomas Wenski, 66, is presently riding out on his motorbike to meet people who are threatened by Hurricane Irma. Around 650.000 people were told to leave Miami, the largest evacuation ever attempted in the USA.

Wenski has been riding motorcycles for more than ten years. In 2015 it was reported that he has a picture of his Harley Davidson on his cellphone cover.

On February 2012, he celebrated the first Old Rite Pontifical High Mass in more than 40 years in the state of Florida.
