The Swedish Heilige Eriks Legion has posted earlier in August pictures from their July Roman Rite pilgrimage - famous for the Pontifical Mass sung by Kopenhagen Bishop Czeslaw Kozon.
The weekend included a combination of solemn liturgies, walks, talks, and festivities.
The pilgrimage was announced only a few weeks in advance but – despite/because of Traditiones Custodes – turned out to be a great event with 140 people participating all three days although Sweden is historically deeply Protestant.
Half of the participants were young families with children and the other half were young students and others, as many men as women.
Also non-Catholics praised the beauty of the event, wanted to know more about the Faith, and asked the organisers to come back next year.

Very sad that the oiginal Briggitine Order St. Brigit founded , and which was so strong in Sweden before the Reformation, is practically extnct today.....famous and before very flourishing cloisters in Great Britian and Germany closed within the last 8 years. The German hosue was down to 1 nun, but with several aspirants. They begged the VAtican (Francis) to allow them to stay open, because there were several interested canditates. But of course because they were traditional, Bergoglio's answer was no. If they had been VAtican II updated habitless nuns pushing for women priests and homosexuality, he would have done everything to save them.
