Famous Columnist: Cause of Pederasty Is Vatican II’s Secularism

Sexual immorality, promoted by the world, entered the Church through the cracks of Vatican II like the smoke of Satan, Juan Manuel de Prada, one of the greatest talents in contemporary Spanish literature, writes on Abc.es (January 31).

Once the Church had been smoked, the world hastened to expose it in the public pillory.

The world is not interested in purifying the Church, De Prada explains, but in converting it into “a trembling wreck” that crawls before the world in order “to avoid scandal.”

That’s what the bishops are doing while lacking the courage to eliminate the root causes of pederasty - de Prada continues - because they fear the wrath of the world which promotes these causes.

For de Prada, the Church is imprisoned by a “failed generation” of bishops who do not want to disavow the errors of Vatican II.

This would mean to abjure Vatican II’s “springtime of the Church” which has brought about this icy winter, De Prada writes, “That can only be done by a new generation that abhors the delicacies of Vatican II secularism.”
