US Archbishop Promotes - and Shares Residence - with Priest Who Spent 10 Years in Registered Same-Sex Partnership
Rev Rosera (pictured) was a priest of Santa Fe until 1993. He left the priesthood and indulged 28 years in homosexual sins. For over nine years (2005-2015) he lived in San Francisco in a registered homosexual relationship (“domestic partnership”). It was dissolved in 2017, after the priest’s concubine started living with another man in 2012 and filed for dissolution in 2015 in order to "marry" him.
Archbishop Wester reinstated Rev Rosera's priestly faculties in January 2021. Rosera continued to promote homosexuality on social media. In October 2021, just four months after being reinstated, he celebrated “Coming Out Day” in the parish bulletin.
Monsignor Wester appointed the homosexual priest as the pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish. He also promoted Rev Rosera to lead an archdiocesan deanery and appointed him to the Archdiocesan Tribunal. There, he works as a judge and Defender of the marriage Bond.
"The very idea of appointing a priest – who abandoned his priestly duties and spent nearly 10 years in a sodomitical simulation of marriage – to the Archdiocesan Marriage Tribunal is a sacrilegiously disgusting joke," said Michael Hichborn, President of the Lepanto Institute.
Hichborn adds that Archbishop Wester has a history of questionable propaganda. He defended a program by Catholic Relief Services that promoted masturbation as a form of “safe sex.” In 2011, Archbishop Wester appointed a Democrat politician who had supported same-sex “marriages” as head of the “Catholic Campaign for Human Development”.
Archbishop Wester currently lives with Rosera in the same residence.
