@Dr. Bobus I was surprised he was on the list. He was remarkably intelligent and intellectually gifted but as Descartes noted that even a genius who begins his analysis with faulty presuppositions ends in error. He was remarkably intelligent and intellectually gifted but as Descartes noted that even a genius who begins his analysis with faulty presuppositions ends in error. Several years ago, I read his book Brief History of time, which is mostly theoretical and inconclusive. For example, he posits a boomerang effect at the end of time, where the universe collapses upon itself, returning to a point of infinitesimal singularity in which throughout the collapse time runs backwards causing a resurrection of everything that existed before that comes back into existance including deceased humans. The movie Benjamin Button-the story of a man born old but as he ages through the years becomes younger and younger is based on this concept. Time in reverse.

It was strange talking with them. He communicated by firming words on an LCD screen, and I didn't know whether to address him or her.

He was, however, wrong about the relation between the existence of Time and God. St Thomas takes up the question, and Gilson comments on it
