Napolitano, an atheist, died on September 22 with no hope of redemption. His corpse was laid out at Palazzo Madama, the seat of the corrupt Italian Senate.
Even Walter Veltroni, another communist politician, called Francis’ behaviour “an extraordinary fact.”

On September 22, Giorgio Napolitano, militant Communist and lifelong Freemason, died at the age of 98. Pope Francis went out of his way to visit his casket. Pope Francis described him as "a great man, servant of the fatherland."

Pope Francis never met a Communist comrad he didn't like. It was, also that way in Argentina when he was a bishop. Remember when he joyfully and with pride accepted the hammer and sickle crucifix and chastised the critics? His own theology is permeated with Liberation theology, which Pope John Paul II condemned.

As the Head of State for Vatican City and the Primate of Italy I’m sure the Holy Father felt he was obliged in some measure to pay his respects to a former President of Italy, the late President’s political affiliation and eternal fate notwithstanding. Nothing untoward about that. There are a great many things in the Church for the Faithful to be concerned about and to pray earnestly for…this is …More

Give me a break, even Pope John Paul II refused to attend the funerals of Polish Communist politicos. Pope Francis did it b/c he favors state socialism and sees it as an economic system that benefits the poor. In his twisted mind he thinks it's closer to Christianity than a free-market system where the lazy and irresponsible have consequences for their behavior and life choices.

At first, the comments posted here by @SonoftheChurch made me angry, because I could not believe that anyone who obviously is intelligent and knowledgable of the Catholic Church and events surrounding the Vatican and Papacy could be so blind as to still call an apostate heretic homo lover like Pope Francis , even after all the heresy and scandals he has causes even in the last two weeks, the "…More
At first, the comments posted here by @SonoftheChurch made me angry, because I could not believe that anyone who obviously is intelligent and knowledgable of the Catholic Church and events surrounding the Vatican and Papacy could be so blind as to still call an apostate heretic homo lover like Pope Francis , even after all the heresy and scandals he has causes even in the last two weeks, the "Supreme Pontiff" or "Vicar of Christ" even though Francis himself disavowed that title personally.
That respect for a Pope is well deserved for recent past Popes, and even dating back hundreds of years with very few exceptions....but not for Bergoglio. When even whole episcopal conferences and the head of the conference (Poland), states that Francis' "synod on synodality" will destroy the Church, and numerous other wise theologians and prelates stated the same, he still heaps praise on Bergoglio as if he were in personal contact with the Lord himself.
Now, I just ignore most of his comments, like this one. To be fair, once or twice, there was a hint of disapproval of Francis in his remarks, but mostly, he is a Francis cheerleader", one of very few....at least on this site. I read other sites, and even those that were once pro-Francis and losing their enthusiasm for him.
So I don't pay any attention to his comments anymore. I feel sorry for someone still willing to defend who so mny I have read and spoken with say is truely a heretic and apostate (including priests and seminarians I have talked with).
The Papacy is an office worth defending and showing respect for the person of the Pope if he continues to respect.preserve, and teach the doctrines and traditions of the Faith that has been passed on from previous Popes. But for one to depart from apostolic tradition, trash it, condemn tradition and the TLM, persecute faithful Catholics, hound faithful bishops to resignation or dismissal, supress flourishing religious Orders, and at the same time promote heresy, apostacy, paganism (pachamamma, etc. and now Indian priests and nuns worshiping Hindu deities and lighting candles before them), and promoting active homosexuals to Vatican and episcopal offices and enthusiastically encouraging homosexuals and TRANS prostitutes by audience and e-mails..... he is no Pope worthy of any respect or obedience....neither Bergoglio, or (God forbid!) if the next Pope is of the same mold.

“an extraordinary fact.” Another Francis scandal, ranking among his worst, which his homo Vatican advisors will not be able to cover up, or control the faithful Catholics anger/outrage over.

"An extraordinary fact"..? Sure, a so-called pope - usurping the Throne of Peter - who has stated himself that he is "not the vicar" wearing a masonic pastoral pendant, standing up erect with no help of a cane- with an empty stare... in front of a communist coffin. At least he lived up to his true identity: he DID NOT make the Sign of the Cross! At least... !

I was wondering where his wheelchair was.... right behind him. Comrade Bergoglio of the NWO.
