Australian Archbishop Believes Our Lady Needs Face Mask

Brisbane Archbishop Mark Coleridge, Australia, invoked on Twitter (August 24) “Our Lady of Covid."

He even published a picture of Our Lady and Baby Jesus, both wearing masks. Comments called Coleridge's image absolutely sick, scandalous, appalling, disgusting, insulting, and worse names.

Father Frederick Gruber points out that the Queen of Heaven does not spread viruses but is “Health of the Sick.”

Seriously? We're not even half-way to the excesses of the past. Pope Leo X (one of the Medici popes) had far worse tastes in art. AND he was still Pope. AND everyone acknowleged that. AND devout Catholic didn't follow his errors AND the Church survived his reign. Four facts for those incapable of providing any at all.
