Vatican announces that Domenico Battaglia, Archbishop of Naples, will be created a Cardinal of the Holy Roman Church by Pope Francis on 7 December, replacing Paskalis Bruno Syukur of Indonesia who had petitioned the Pope not to be made a Cardinal.
