He’d destroy the church. Just like his conferee Williamson, the deadly duo would add The Protocols of Zion as a book of the New Testament. That 911 was an inside job must be added to the Creed etc. It would cease to be the Catholic Church.
The church is not a democracy. We do not get to choose the person we like best. If Bishop Vigano were Pope there would be not shortage of Catholics who would find some fault in him and propose someone else. The church has survived bad Popes in the past and we will survive this one. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

So I read that even though elected, and took a Papal name, Gregory XVII, he changed his mind at the last minute because the French Caridnals had hissy-fits inside the conclave.....so they did it over and unfortunatly got Roncalli.....who had been a popular Papal Nuncio to France ( what a surprise).
I forgot, he was elected again in 1978 agaun, believe it or not, and refused again because of opposition. He had too much of a orthodox reputation, which is what the Church actually needed,
