Police Raids Italian Churches

Father Carmine Petrilli of San Giuseppe Artigiano in Rocca Priora, Italy, held a Eucharistic adoration with less than twenty people, all spaced out in different pews.

Nevertheless, police issued formal citations to everyone so they could be fined.

On March 20, police dispersed a prayer in Nocera Inferiore with one priest and less than ten faithful, threatening those present with fines.

Cruxnow.com (March 29) knows of several other Italian parishes which were raided by police last week.

Amoris Laetitia was a litmus test for the bishops. If they didn't protest an offense against the body of Christ, surely they wouldn't protest an offense against the Mass, and the Sacraments.
