IMPEACHMENT: The Pope Francis Edition.

So, here we go again -- the Church's largest charitable organization, Caritas Internationalis finds itself embroiled in another McCarrick-esque sex abuse scandal. CNN just dug up the fact that the head of the international Catholic charity's African branch, Salesian Father Luk Delft—a notorious convicted sex offender--was nevertheless promoted to the prominent Caritas position. Cardinal Luis Tagle -- President of Caritas and popular choice for successor to Pope Francis -- was informed of the Delft situation back in 2017, but elected to presume somebody else would take care of it. Since then, Delft is accused of abusing still more children. Whoops. So much for last year’s Vatican Clerical Sexual Abuse Summit. Michael Matt asks the question: How much more scandal will Francis Church orchestrate before ethe Catholic people wake up? If the CEO of any company were this negligent, he would be run out of town on a rail. So, why not the cats running the Vatican? And, by the way, what in the world is with Pope Francis the Politician's Leftist connections? The man is so in bed with the Left he could be Bernie Sanders' running mate, for Pete's sake. In fact, Francis’s right-hand man, Bishop Sorondo, invited Bernie to speak at the Vatican a few years back. No wonder they all hate Trump! Finally, brand-new video of pro-abort Jeff Sachs hosting a Sustainable Development Goals UN youth symposium in the Vatican during the Amazon Synod. You can't make this stuff up. Forget Francis the False Prophet of Revelation. Let’s look at Francis the political hack. What if Francis is a just a radical politician whose job is to run the Catholic Church into the ground in order to make room for the New World Order? Please Help Us Build Remnant TV! To Ultraviolet. The laity fund the church. You will find that many prelates etc pay rather close attention to that reality.
The laity are also the source of all vocations.
You defend the validity of an alleged pontificate like francis 1st that has destroyed the indissoluble nature of catholic marriage.

As these spiritual horrors progress you may find that the “ laity” are not quite as powerless as you imply.

I've been pointing out the financial clout of the laity long before your joined GTV. :) However, my original statement remains correct: the laity have no direct say in these matters. We can't vote a cleric in or out of office. In some cases, that's a very good thing. Leftist parishes have at times been "stuck" with ideologically conservative priests.

They're an interesting example of the laity's lack of power. The laity scream, complain, actively disrupt the Mass, stage demonstrations, complain repeatedly to the Bishop and to what end? Nothing. The Bishop likes Father Faithful and he's still the pastor of the Church of the Patchouli Rainbow no matter how much his hippie flock despises him.

If the laity can't directly "evict" an unwelcome priest, how much less able are they to remove an unwelcome bishop? It would take practically a zero income from the entire laity before the bishops and cardinals would begin to take notice.

...and even then. If the abuse scandal shows anything, it's the institution's willingness to loudly discuss reform, make token changes, while everything goes on as it always has.

Caritas is part of Taizé in France, the ones that did the novus ordo mass. They're a mafia-like. When Brother Roger was killed, the woman that was psychiatry ill sent to the hospital was stabbed many many times by a killer. It's in the news in French.

Doesn't matter if "the Catholic people wake up" or not. The laity have no direct say in these matters.
