Repression: Pope Francis has forced Cardinal Robert Sarah to withdraw as a keynote-speaker from the 18th International Liturgical Symposium in Herzogenrath, Germany. The Symposium will take place in April, 2017. The cancellation was officially motivated by – quote – “scheduling reasons.” The Cardinal had confirmed his presence three times, also in writing.
Interesting Detail: Cardinal Sarah was scheduled to speak about, “The importance of the Motu proprio Summorum Pontificum for the renewal of the liturgy in the Latin Rite.” Interesting detail: If the problems were due to scheduling reasons, somebody else could read the Cardinal’s address. But this will not be the case.
Fake Bishops: Hong Kong Cardinal Joseph Zen has warned of an imminent Vatican deal that will acknowledge Communist-appointed Chinese bishops. In the Wall Street Journal, Zen calls the plan, “totally unacceptable” and a “surrender.” Quote: “With fake bishops you are destroying the Church.” Zen calls the faithful to pray at home, if the underground Church in their area is replaced by the Communist state-church.
Media Bias: A lawyer claimed that a mysterious young woman was going to accuse Donald Trump of child rape. However, a scheduled press conference was cancelled in the last minute and an announced lawsuit was pulled. Yet, on the front page of Yahoo was a story headlined, "Trump Child-Rape Accuser Drops Lawsuit After Receiving Threats." Creative Minority comments: “This is the same media that wouldn't report on WikiLeaks because they couldn't verify them.”
