A green afterlife?
In this Catholic News Service article, one "Catholic" person featured comments: "For us, true immortality is to return to nature."
I hadn't seen it coming, that the Catholic Church would join the lunacy of a burial practice of people becoming one with trees. No doubt, Pope Francis would probably applaud the concept and any day will likely promote it as well.
