Francis Return To the Vatican Further Undated

Francis is continuing his treatment and rehabilitation, which will allow him to return to the Vatican "as soon as possible," the Vatican Press Office, known for its euphemistic information, said in their July 13 bulletin on the ninth day of Francis' hospitalisation.

According to the bulletin, Francis has met “many patients” while being in hospital and addressed a special thought to those who are bedridden and cannot return home.

An earlier report estimated that Francis would remain in hospital for “around seven days” after his intestinal operation “unless there are complications.” The actual bulletin provides no indication as to when Francis may return to Santa Marta.
