Francis Has Bronchitis Again

Francis, 87, cut short another speech on 12 January for health reasons.

"I would like to read the whole speech, but I have a problem," he told the audience, "I have a slight bronchitis and I can't speak well.

On 13 January he was well enough to address the clergy of Rome in the basilica of St John Lateran, which he usually avoids like the devil avoids holy water.

In several meetings in the new year, Francis had distributed his speeches to the participants instead of reading them.

At the end of November, Francis cancelled his trip to the World Climate Summit in Dubai, citing a lung infection.

Now he's played the "I don't feel good" card again, LOts of fake coughing, sad face, trying to look sick. Next if that doesn't work, he'll pull the "rush to the hospital routine".…More
