As such, it is the biggest threat to the destructive modernist forces in Rome that continue their conquest of replacing the Catholic Faith with a counterfeit that is causing untold destruction to souls. And up to now, those forces have had no control over the Society. If the Franciscans of the Immaculate were smashed because they had "Lefebvrist leanings", what will happen sooner or later to the "Lefebvrists" themselves when they place themselves in the hands of the very modernists that despise them? What has changed to make now different from 2005 or 1995 or 1988?
May God preserve Bishop Fellay from making a critical error in judgement that would mark the eventual destruction or at best dilution of the Society.
