“Out of this respect, we await the outcome of the appeals process, recalling that Cardinal Pell maintains his innocence and has the right to defend himself until the last stage of appeal.” -------------------------------------------------------------- This must have been written by someone in that bunch who has a little common sense. It's measured, controlled, retains hope and is in keeping with the facts as they are currently known. I like it especially since it comes from the Vatican.
