Gänswein: Negative Cardinals With Benedict XVI

The neo-cardinals created on Saturday by Francis were quarantined before the consistory, and tested negative for Covid-19, Archbishop Georg Gänswein told KNA.de (November 30).

He refuted criticism that the eleven prelates visited the former Benedict XVI without precautious measures such as social distances and masks.

Only three of them wore - for whatever reasons - a mask during the audience.
