American priest throws away book critical of the Synod of Francis

The authors José Antonio Ureta Zañartu and Julio Loredo de Izcue recently wrote the book "The synodal process is a Pandora's box" denouncing the Synod called by Francis, and mailed a physical copy of the English version to all priests in the United States. Joined.

One of them, named Joseph Paul Devlin, who currently serves as the parish priest of Saint Matthew in Conshohocken (Pennsylvania), showed how willing he is to dialogue by throwing the book into the trash can and taking a photo that he posted on his Twitter account/ X with the text "Where this belongs! I support and trust Pope Francis."

The priest is a jackass. Another dime-a-dozen Bergoglian zombie.

This priest is a brainwashed Bergoglian zombie. Another typical 60+ Vatican II progressive. And it's not San Mateo Parish , but it is actually Saint Matthew, in Conshohoken, Pa. I've seen it many times. They don't even identify the Church as Catholic from their sign fronting the church. It says "Saint Matthew PArish Community".........which could mean anything....Episcopal, Presbyterian, Methodist …More

It is a very impressive, Gothic church built by hard working Irish immigrants about 12 years after the Civil War, but the actual parish pre-dates the Civil War. It was a flourishing parish with school, convent for the long-gone Sisters of Saint Joseph, and a rectory for about 6 priests.
The FSSP also has a parish in Conshohocken, St.MAry's (which was once a Polish Catholic Church). St. Mary's, with the LAtin Mass, attracts more people from the area than liberal St. Matthew's. The FSSP started with 2 Masses each Sunday, but now have 3. St. Matthews at one time had 5 Sunday Masses, but now has 3. The school is gone, the Sisters of Saint Joseph are gone, and if he's lucky, this liberal Fr. Devlin shares the rectory with 1 other priest.
There used to be 4 Catholic parishes in Conshohocken (and an adjacent section called West Conshohocken)- They were St. Gertrude's (closed), St. Matthew's, Saint Mary's(now FSSP and not considered an official "parish"), and St. Cosmas and Damian ( closed and sold to the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church). Saint Cosmas and Damian was an Italian parish and used to have huge Italian festivals (30-40 years ago). Saint Gertrude's and St. Matthew's were Irish parishes, and St. Mary's was Polish.
After Vatican II, all 4 parishes declined rapidly. Within 20 years, all 4 of the schools closed, and all 4 Orders of sisters (Sisters of Saint Joseph(St.Matthew), Sisters,Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary(St.Gertrude), Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart (Cabrini nuns-St.Cosmas and Damian), and the Bernardine Sisters(St.Mary's) , were gone.
St. Matthew's has declined alot faster since Bergoglio came in as Pope Francis.
Fr. Devlin is the liberal, pro-VAtican II papalotrist that good, faithful CAtholics should ignore.

Wow, there is a person who supports and trusts Francis. I thought that everyone had already seen the light, but then suddenly this.

When Francis venerated the Pachamama idol in the Vatican and actively participated in the invocation of the demon Grandmother in Canada, did this prelate also support and trust him?

Fr. Devlin gives the protestants ammo for their standard critique of Catholics who put their faith in men and not in God.

Yeah at the trash bins at catholic parishes & chanceries must be over-flowing!

Just ignore priests like this. Typical liberal, pro-homo, pro-VAtican II etc.
