On July 23 Father Richard Geoghegan, parish-priest of Ballyneale, Diocese of Waterford & Lismore, Ireland, performed during a show on Irish National TV (RTE 1) as a transvestite. Geoghegan said he had a "talent for drag" and is following the parable Jesus preached about not hiding your talents under a bushel but to go out and use them. Geoghegan has a collection of wigs and high heels. Geoghegan's bishop is Monsignor Alphonsus Cullinan who is close to the Opus Dei.
