Big Bird could be best man. That's the image if an online push looking to join Bert and Ernie in gay matrimony is successful. "We are not asking that Sesame Street do anything crude or disrespectful," reads the petition at Change.org. "It can be done in a tasteful way. Let us teach tolerance of those that are different."The Montreal Gazette

In this horrific age of LGBT kids taking their own lives, they need to know that they ARE BEAUTIFUL and their lives are worth living. Aside from those that are committing suicide, the bullies that facilitate these tragedies need to learn that homophobia is NOT okay. They need to know that acceptance of their fellow human beings would indeed plant a seed of peace that will reverberate throughout the world. It was explained to me and I had to ask how would it be possible for two men to have sex. I was told that they stuck their wieners in each others butts. I was immediately repulsed and disgusted at the thought of such sexual perversion. Nobody had taught me that I should consider this behavior to be disgusting or repulsive, I was born this way. I wish people could learn to be more tolerant and accept me for who I am.
