In Church institutions, all documents and records must reflect a person's "God-given biological sex", Detroit Archbishop Allen Vigneron wrote in a 5,000-word pastoral letter on "the challenges of gender identity".
The new rules come into effect on 1 August and affect all Catholic schools and parish programmes, such as formation, youth conferences and other events.
It will also apply to, among other things, bathrooms and sporting events, as well as dress codes. Vigneron doesn't use the propaganda term "transgender" but speaks of "individuals experiencing gender confusion" [which is a psychiatric issue].
In other interviews, Vigneron has described the idea that body and soul can have different identities as a poison and a virus.

"Vigneron doesn't use the propaganda term "transgender" but speaks of "individuals experiencing gender confusion" [which is a psychiatric issue]." Exactly. But try getting any psychiatrist to admit that these days, for fear of being struck off or prosecuted. Many get around it by saying what areas they specialise in (addictions, depression, phobias etc) and if any 'gender-confused' person comes to them, they just say they don't specialise in that area and refer them to someone who does. But they will never tell that person their problem is a psychiatric one, not one requiring drugs and surgery. Sex Change Regret | For those who want to return back
