Fr André Chapus publicly "blessed" a homosexual concubinage near Nîmes, France, this spring without anyone grumbling.
PaixLiturgique.com (22 September) describes Chapus, who is a former parish priest of Redessan near Nîmes, as a "normal" diocesan priest.
He was diocesan archivist, once directed a diocesan magazine and is currently an assistant priest. He also accompanies pilgrimages, especially to Lourdes.
It is true that the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith declared in February 2021 that homosexual "blessings" were highly scandalous and sacrilegious. But this was just another example of the Vatican double standard, which serves to say one thing to appease the stupid "conservatives" while giving free rein to the enemies of the faith.
