Yes let’s praise the “Luke warm”.

And your solution is ....? Oh of course...negetive cynicalism. There it is again.

The solution is the daily rosary ,penance, first saturdays and work for the consecration of Russia. Group hugs were never requested by heaven.

Why are they all standing? Don't they know how to approach God?

In an age where even the traditional Catholic youths are struggling to hold onto their faith, this is wonderful to see. I would rather that my child was one of those students giving praise in the way they understand, than have thrown off the faith altogether. The language and the music of the angels may not be present but good will, joy, and large numbers are. I know so many of these new rite …More

I would rather that my child was one of those students giving praise in the way they understand, than have thrown off the faith altogether. The language and the music of the angels may not be present but good will, joy, and large numbers are. I know so many of these new rite Catholics who have recently - since the covid plandemnic - opened their hearts and minds to the traditional movement. And they bring an abundant of fresh air into what is in danger of becoming a cynical, elistist boys club. Many of us here started off "modern" Catholics - give them time - they too will find the greater path eventually.

This is a beautiful Catholic Church consecrated by a Bishop for the Glory of God. I agree with Carol H; Give them time, encouragement & prayer. Who knows the mind of God?

It's a bit frustrating that some Newman Centers at secular colleges have spent millions building beautiful Catholic looking sanctuaries, but still subscribe to the casual, informal style of evangelical Protestants in worship & ministry. I recently took a tour of the church at OSU and was amazed at all the Italian marble, gold-leaf, traditional art, etc. in the church. No expense was spared, but as far as I could tell - no TLM. And I was told by the campus "minister" about the great social life for Catholic students with pool parties, student meals, etc. Shown the rec room. It looked like a country club with huge fireplaces! [in OKLA?]
Defeat Modernism
Terrible, these poor youth being misled into a false religion of moderism. Look at how they are dressed, just terrible.

That's how all college students dress. You can't expect them to wear "Sunday clothes" during a regular class day. When I was in college in the suburbs of Philly, I wore shorts, t-shirts, sleevless t-shirts, and flip-flops or sandals from the warm days of early September to late Oct., and again from April to end of May. Everyone did. The only bad thing is that Catholics in general dress like this on …More

When I was in college in the suburbs of Philly, I wore shorts, t-shirts, sleevless t-shirts, and flip-flops or sandals from the warm days of early September to late Oct., and again from April to end of May. Everyone did. The only bad thing is that Catholics in general dress like this on Sundays too, the few who go to the Novus Ordo. The "anglicans" and the Greek Orthodox faithful still dress up for Sunday. The fundamentalists don't.
The only Catholics who still dress up in suits and ties, dresses and chapel veils are the growing number, mostly young, who go to the traditional Roman Rite Latin Masses.
But on college campuses, even to Chapel services...no one dresses up.

That's is the problem. There is no reverence but the new mass isn't valid nor Catholic. So they are basically in a godless protestant building so what does it matter. They are truly dressed for the heretical occasion.
