Washington Nuncio: "There Is No Deposit Of Faith" - Bishop Strickland

Journalist Terry Barber, a friend of Bishop Strickland, revealed on Sunday (video below) that US nuncio Christophe Pierre told Tyler Bishop Joseph Strickland at a bishops’ meeting in 2021 that “there is no deposit of faith”(sic).

Barber says, “Bishop Strickland communicated to me that […] Pierre confronted him and said, ‘Look, the Holy Father is watching you. You need to stop talking about the deposit of faith. There is no deposit of faith.’”

Catechism 84 says: “The Apostles entrusted the ‘Sacred deposit’ of the faith (the depositum fidei), contained in Sacred Scripture and Tradition, to the whole of the Church.”
