Consider the hundred thousand in Vatican Square at the time of John Paul II's death. I am not happy with everything JP II did, but he did convey a sense of hope to people. Whereas Francis is a typical liberal: the sky is always falling, things are terrible, Covid will get us all. The Covid lockdown was hard on young people, seeming to take away their future, and Francis had the same negative vibe.

Here's some news we can all laugh about.......the homo infested Vatican of Pope Francis will have possibly a deficit of 50 MILLION EUROS for 2023, because faithful Catholics hate him, his homo advisors and appointees and bishops and his "synodal" agenda dominated by homosexuality and his persecution of traditional bishops, priests ,monks, friars. seminarians, monasteries and cloistered convents so much, that they are VERY seriously in debt to the tune of 50 million Euros for 2023 projected. That is why Bergoglio now is forcing Cardinals and Vatican residents to pay to stay.....where before it was free. They have to make money somehow. But those rents he is going to squeeze out of cardinals, bishops, Vatican staff etc. is a drop in the ocean of debt.......Francis' Vatican is literally drowning in debt. HOORAY, HOORAY!!
My advice to faithful CAtholics.......continue to withhold any contributions to Francis and his VAtican. NO to "Peter's Pence", no to "Caritas", no to "Catholic CHarities". The news out of Germany, and the schism Francis caused by not supressing the German synod is making things worse. Apparently, NO ONE WANTS FRANCIS OR HIS VERSION OF THE CHURCH. Good riddance.
Down with Francis and his VAtican. Down with the German "Synodal Way", dow with Francis and his homo advisors and appointees.
His ship is sinking. Let us help it sink faster by contributing nothing to Francis and his Vatican, and his homo-loving bishops/cardials around the world.

I was in highschool when Bergogio was elected (senior). All I knew a Pope was elected was a few students watching TV in one of the lounges. I was on my way to class, so all I heard was the name, "Francis". My first thought was that was a horrible Papal name, I had expected a Benedict XVII or another JP, or an outside chance of a Pius XIIIm or even a Gregory. I didn't think any other names would be …More
I was in highschool when Bergogio was elected (senior). All I knew a Pope was elected was a few students watching TV in one of the lounges. I was on my way to class, so all I heard was the name, "Francis". My first thought was that was a horrible Papal name, I had expected a Benedict XVII or another JP, or an outside chance of a Pius XIIIm or even a Gregory. I didn't think any other names would be picked. Certainly not another "John", or a "Paul". So I went off to class (Chemistry), just thinking to myself what an odd name. I was disappointed it wasn't an Italian Pope, I was hoping for one.
I didn't think much of the news when I was working out in the gym, or stopping for a pizza witih friends. But when I got home the national news was on, and my Grandmom said in English, I still remember her voice " Take a look at the oddball they chose!", just as they repeated the clip of Francis appearing on the centeral balcony of St.Peter's. There was Francis, with no papal mozzetta, no stole. I knew at once we were in for trouble, that they had picked a radical liberal. My Grandmom and I both made a face at each other as if to say "we can't stand him".
How right we were!!!!!
HOPEFULLY WE GET A REAL CATHOLIC POPE NEXT TIME....VERY SOON I HOPE.
