Wow, he dies, Jesus saves him, and all you can do is insult Him. Maybe Jesus should have asked your advice before saving him.

Show it was Jesus who saved him. You presmue too much.. All things happen for two reasons. God causes them to happen or He allows them to happen. Since God is all-good, it is impossible for Him -cause- bad things to happen. Instead, He allows them to. Likewise, He can -allow- good things to happen, without actually -causing- them to happen.

Since God is all-good, it is impossible for Him -cause- bad things to happen. Instead, He allows them to. Likewise, He can -allow- good things to happen, without actually -causing- them to happen.

This is basic theology. You are ASSUMING not only it was God, but the personage of Jesus (as opposed to God The Father or the Holy Spirit) was the one actively saving the man, instead of simply allowing it to happen. On what grounds?

...because the immediate act of saving him is inherently good, perhaps? That would be a mistake. Evil spirits can, through their limited and imperfect supernatural abilities create wonders and cures as well. They do so because the -outcome- is ultimately evil. They mislead naive people into believing evil non-Christian "gods" are good and answer their prayers.

This is, in fact, a common problem missionaries face. People, especially simple people, are very pragmatic. If worshipping Baal will give them bountiful harvests, then that's what they do. Father O'Malley shows up and tells them Baal is tricking them and that they should trust God even when the crops are going bad year after year, and they laugh.

Exodus is a fine example Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt, now they're stuck in the desert, things are NOT going well, and immediately they make a golden calf and revert to Egyptian paganism, hoping for a quick fix.

The outcome here is a non-Catholic is still alive and well and promoting a false doctrine, a false theology AND scamming naive people out of money, all of which is as evil and as contrary to God's One True Church as you can get.
