Radical Environmentalists (or as the media likes to call them "Climate Activist") have no interest in protecting the lives of people. Indeed, the radicals involved in this movement are only interested in protecting "Mother Earth."
They are fully aware that absolutely none of the behavioral modifications that the media and the Radical Environmentalist have imposed on society have made even a modest change in the threatened catastrophes they have been predicting--none of which, of course, have ever come to pass.
They are also fully aware that their only effective solution is a depopulation of the globe. it is their belief that the 8 billion world population must be reduced by 80%. It is common knowledge within that radical community that the sustainability of life as they envision kt on this earth is 2 billion people.
Most faithful Catholics are aware that this is a Satanically-driven movement whose ultimately goal is to destroy God's creations. The abortion, euthanasia, contraception efforts around the world are part of this effort. Whether or not the Covid 19 and the Vaccine promotion were part of the same effort is unclear today, but if it were, many would not be surprised.

The problem is that he has been told that climate will cost many innocent lives. If that were true, one could envisage a priest taking a stand against it. It wouldn't be a priest's first priority, converting the doomed to eternal life would, but preventing physical death would be on the list.
But the claim that climate change is an existential threat is simply false. I know because of years of training and decades of study. But how is a priest or layman to know? That is a question I have pondered since "global warming" was the threat and particularly when bodies in the street were expected from COVID-19. Any suggestions would be welcome.
