Francis Talks too Much

We cannot bear any more interviews from Francis, writes Cesare Maffi on ItaliaOggi.it (28 July).

He recalls that Pius XII made a meticulous analysis for every sentence he read or pronounced from memory, as was customary with the ancient orators.

Maffi calls Francis "a river of words", uttering concepts he has repeated for years and making statements that are often questionable, if not embarrassing.

Accordingly, Francis has lost papal authority: "The most serious problem lies in the almost daily confusion between Bergoglio's [superficial] personal thinking and the profound teaching of the Church."

He would never say this about Protestants, Muslims, Jews, Pagans, or even Freemasons. He will gladly collaborate with all of them, finding something useful - praiseworthy, even - in each. Traditional Catholics alone are the vexing thorn in his flesh.

@Lisi Sterndorfer He also would never say it about those who are in a state of mortal sin, who truly do have “dead faith.”
