Priest Murdered, Killer Lynched

A man “with mental health problems” forced Father Pamphili Nada, a parish priest in Mbulu Diocese, Tanzania, to open the parish church at 3am on July 19.

Locals were awakened by church bells rung by a parish security guard who realised that Father Nada’s assailant had locked the church from inside and began beating the priest with a heavy iron object.

The priest died on the way to hospital, writes VaticanNews.va. The murderer was killed by angry locals.
